(Former) Albemarle Bakery, 120 King Street, Albemarle, ca 1910-1912. The smell of fresh bread wafted from this two-story, brick building from the early twentieth century up to 1972, Josh Morton , an Albemarle Attorney, bought the building in 1976 and renovated it as a law office.The building's sides rise to a parapeted false front with a simple, corbeled cornice line. The windows
have been replaced, the recessed front entrance remodeled and the interior partitioned off for law offices.
