Photo of Nancy Almond Hearne (1785-1847) wife of Nehemiah Hearne who is pictured with three girls. She is buried in the Hearne Burial Ground in Albemarle, NC. (Note: Mrs. Hearne looks to be between 20 - 30 in the photo, yet the style of dresses doesn't seem to match that era. It also doesn't seem likely that photography was this advanced during that time.) |
